About the studio:
My recording space called H’s Place Recording Studio, located in Marysville, Washington, is large enough to accommodate full bands and is suitable for all types of artists. It’s the perfect location to record your loud sources like drum samples, reamping guitars, capturing speaker impulse responses, and anything else you may need.
I use microphones from Shure, Lewitt, Sennheiser, Slate, Warm Audio, AKG, Audix and Solomon to cover all the bases and capture your music with detail and clarity. There are enough mics and inputs to record up to 24 channels simultaneously, so even the most extensive drumkits can be properly captured.
My offsite mixing suite uses top quality plugins from Sonnox, Slate Digital, Plugin Alliance, IK Multimedia and others, along with Dangerous Music analog summing and a mixbus compressor and EQs, to add life and power to your tracks.
About me:
I am Bradzilla, a nickname I was given in college. Music has been my passion as long as I can remember. I was raised on the sounds of the British Invasion, Motown and more, and fell in love with the music of the 80s and 90s growing up. When I learned that I could record music for myself and others I knew that’s what I wanted to do with my life.
After attending Shoreline Community College near Seattle I began recording for myself and tiny projects for other local artists, and playing bass and vocals for death metal trio Semesus. While singing for thrash band Fallen Angels, I recorded and mixed our debut album “Rise From Ashes” on a shoestring budget, and it saw worldwide release through Metal On Metal Records. I have recorded and mixed albums and EPs for local rock and metal bands Bums Island, Thorn, Slam Shifter, Pain Field, who released their debut album “Blackened Skies” in May 2022, The XOfenders who have just released their third album “Sign of the Times” in early 2024, with much more to come.
As a fan of artists from Beethoven to Foo Fighters to The Supremes to Cannibal Corpse to Dua Lipa, I am interested in helping artists and bands of all styles realize their musical potential. Whether you have great songs and need to capture them at their best, or if you have already done the recording yourself but need editing or a professional mix for it to sound perfect, I can help you reach your musical goals.
Make YOUR music.
